Chateau de Segure is located in the Fitou appellation, one of the oldest wine appellations in Languedoc. The terroir is mainly made of calcareous - clay soils. The landscape is characterised by a dry climate with a strong wind called the Cers, that blows over the hills and slopes in the area.
