Umani Ronchi is a one of the leading players of the Adriatic Coast wine area. The Bernetti-Bianchi family have been passionate winemakers in Marche and Abruzzo for 3 generations. Since 1959 Umani Ronchi have been making superb-quality craft wines, coaxing the best out of the Verdicchio and Montepulciano that find their finest expression in Marche and Abruzzo, with vineyards on gentle slopes between the Apennines and the Adriatic sea. Umani Ronchi is focused on local indigenous grapes and its production is spread on 3 estates in the "terroirs" of Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi, Conero and Abruzzo.
The vineyards from which we obtain the grapes for UMANI RONCHI "Podere" are located predominantly in the provinces of Chieti and Teramo and are grown using pergola systems.
